BREAKFAST STEAK AND EGGS
Makes 2 servings
This classic breakfast is Keto all on its own. Who doesn’t love savory flavors in the morning? It’s a great way to start the day. Feel free to dress it up with any additional veggies, cheeses, or seasoning blend you like!
INGREDIENTS
2 tablespoons olive oil
½ pound sirloin steak (or cut of your choice)
2 tablespoons butter
6 large eggs
Salt, to taste
Cracked black pepper, to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add steak and cook for 3–5 minutes on each side, until it reaches your desired doneness. The internal temperature should be about 125°F for rare, 135°F for medium, and 145°F for well-done. Remove from the heat and set aside to rest.
2. Heat butter in a separate large frying pan over medium heat. Add eggs and cook until whites are set and yolks are cooked to your desired level of doneness, about 2 minutes for runny yolks, 4 minutes for well-done.
3. Slice steak into strips and serve with the fried eggs, seasoned with salt and pepper to taste.
