Makes 4 servings
This is the cheesesteak you crave. Just remember to go for the real cheese and forget the cheese sauce if you want to keep it Keto. This is the perfect hearty lunch, keeping you fueled during long days.
2 tablespoons butter
½ cup sweet onion, sliced
1 cup baby bella mushrooms, chopped
1 medium green pepper, sliced into strips
½ pound steak, cooked and sliced thin, or ½ pound rare, sliced roast beef from the deli
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
4 rice-flour wraps
4 slices provolone cheese
1. Heat butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Add onions and sauté for 2 minutes, until soft. Add mushrooms and sauté for 2 minutes, then add peppers and sauté 2 minutes more, stirring to combine. Remove from the heat.
2. Add sliced steak and Worcestershire sauce to veggies and stir to combine.
3. To serve, divide filling among wraps and top each serving with a cheese slice.
