Kiwi Orange-Flower Smoothie
Makes 2 servings
The next time you crave a tropical vacation, save the money, and make this smoothie instead! Fresh kiwis blended with aromatic orange-flower essence, sweet pineapples, creamy bananas, and savory basil, give every sip of this smoothie a refreshing burst of flavor.
INGREDIENTS
5 kiwis, peeled and chopped
½ cup pineapple, chopped*
¼ cup basil leaves, loosely packed
1 banana
2 tablespoons orange-flower essence
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
Note: *Use fresh, frozen, or canned pineapple.
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Combine all Ingredients in a blender except sesame seeds, and process until smooth.
2. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, until cool.
3. Pour into two glasses and top each with half of the sesame seeds before serving (optional).
