KALE CHIPS
Makes 6 servings
Salty and crunchy—that’s what makes a memorable snack. Whoever decided to fry up the first kale chip is genius. These crunchy, savory chips will work with any dip you choose. And these will hit the spot when you’re craving traditional carb-loaded chips.
INGREDIENTS:
1½ cups kale, washed, stemmed, torn into bite-sized pieces and dried
1/3 cup olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
2. Combine kale, oil, and salt in a medium bowl and toss well to coat.
3. Spread kale out on two baking sheets, spacing out as much as possible for better crispness. Bake for 25–30 minutes, until slightly browned, light, and crispy. Serve immediately or seal in an airtight container and store at room temperature for up to 3 days.
