JALAPEÑO POPPERS

Yes, these delicious stuffed peppers are Keto-friendly! The bacon can be included in the cheese mixture as described here or crumbled on top. These are also delicious with a whole slice of bacon wrapped around each pepper before baking. The jalapeño spice kicks these poppers into high gear!
INGREDIENTS
6 jalapeño peppers, halved and seeded
6 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
¼ cup cheddar cheese, shredded
6 slices cooked bacon
¼ teaspoon dried garlic
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Lay jalapeño halves cut side up on the prepared baking sheet. In a bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar, bacon, and garlic. Spoon cheese mixture into pepper halves, mounding the filling and distributing it evenly among all 12 halves.
3. Bake for 20 minutes, or until cheese is melted and crispy. Serve immediately.
