Halloumi and Tomato Sandwich

Traditionally made from a mixture of sheep and goat milk, Halloumi dates back to 1191! Loaded with protein and calcium, this salty cheese elevates any sandwich. With crispy ciabatta topped with fresh tomato slices and halloumi, this recipe is as delicious as it is quick.
INGREDIENTS
1 loaf whole wheat ciabatta bread
½ cup rennet-free
Halloumi cheese, sliced
½ cup sliced cherry tomatoes
½ cup sliced cucumber
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Cut the ciabatta bread in half horizontally.
2. Layer the Halloumi, tomatoes, and cucumber on top of the bottom slice of bread. Top with the other slice of bread. Serve and enjoy!
