Creamy Tahini Hummus
Yield: 3 cups
The perfect snack! Healthy, filling, and offering so many different ways and flavors to play with, it can be served with your favorite veggies or bread.
INGREDIENTS
¼ cup tahini paste
¼ cup lemon juice (from 1 large lemon)
2 tbsp. olive oil, plus more for serving
1 clove garlic
½ tsp. cumin
½ tsp. salt
1½ cups canned or cooked chickpeas, peeled and rinsed
2–3 tbsp. water, as needed
dash of paprika
INSTRUCTIONS
Combine the tahini and lemon juice in the bowl of a food processor and pulse to mix. Add the olive oil, garlic, cumin and salt and pulse until mixed. Add the chickpeas and pulse again until smooth. If the hummus is too thick, add the water a little at a time until you reach the desired consistency. Serve with a drizzle of olive oil and sprinkle the paprika over the top. Use veggies to dip!
