Chocolate Avocado Mousse
SERVINGS: 4 BOWLS
This silky-smooth mousse is the perfect blend of rich cocoa and heart-healthy avocado. Lightly sweetened and full of healthy fats, it’s a guilt-free dessert that’s just as indulgent as it is nourishing.
Ingredients:
2 medium ripe avocados, peeled and pitted
¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
¼ cup unsweetened almond milk (or any low-carb milk)
¼ cup powdered monk fruit sweetener (or erythritol)
1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of sea salt
Optional: 1–2 tbsp sugar-free chocolate chips, melted, for extra richness
Optional toppings: fresh raspberries, coconut flakes, crushed nuts, or a dollop of whipped cream
Instructions
1. Blend: In a food processor or blender, combine avocados, cocoa powder, almond milk, monk fruit sweetener, vanilla extract, and salt. Blend until smooth and creamy. Add melted chocolate chips if using, and blend again.
2. Taste & Adjust: Taste and adjust sweetness or cocoa to your preference.
3. Chill: Spoon into serving glasses or ramekins. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld and texture to firm up.
4. Serve: Top with berries, coconut, or nuts if desired. Enjoy chilled.
