Chicken Wraps
MAKES 6 SERVINGS
For days when you’re short on time, grill the chicken and precut the toppings the day before. Since putting this recipe together takes minutes, it’s perfect for busy days. Thanks to the high fat content, this meal keeps you full all day long. If you’re feeling playful, try swapping out the proteins for your family’s favorites!
INGREDIENTS
6 large lettuce leaves (iceberg)
6 chicken tenders, grilled
6 slices bacon
6 slices ham
6 slices Monterey Jack cheese
6 slices tomatoes
6 slices avocado
1 carrot, julienned
¼ cup purple cabbage, julienned
Salt and pepper, to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Lay 1 lettuce leaf onto a plate and lay one piece each of ham, chicken, and cheese on top; then add tomato, avocado, carrot, and cabbage.
2. Wrap it up and use a toothpick to hold it closed, if necessary. Serve with ranch dressing or mayonnaise.
