This is a Keto version of the recipe that used to be called Chicken Divan, which was made with canned cream soups and cream cheese. This version is just as creamy and decadent, but with lower sodium and without all the additives, keeping you healthy and happy!
1 pound broccoli florets, steamed until just tender
2 cups Basic Seasoned Shredded Chicken (page 42)
¼ cup fresh basil, chopped
1 cup cream cheese
¾ cup whipping cream
½ cup milk
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon garlic, minced
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Butter a 9-x-13-inch baking dish.
2. Combine broccoli, chicken, and basil leaves in a bowl. Set aside.
3. Combine cream cheese, cream, and milk in a saucepan over low heat, for about 5 minutes. Whisk in mustard and garlic until smooth. Pour cheese sauce over chicken and broccoli mixture and toss to fully coat. Spread mixture into the prepared baking dish and cover with shredded cheese.
4. Bake for 20–30 minutes, until hot throughout and the cheese has browned. Cool for 5 minutes then serve.
