Berry Jam and Goat Cheese Crostini
MAKES 1 SERVING
Nothing pairs more perfectly with salty cheese than a berry spread. This recipe calls for mixed berry jam, but feel free to use whatever berry jam you have at home. Topped with fresh spearmint leaves, this simple and elegant dish is guaranteed to win the hearts of your guests.
INGREDIENTS
3 tablespoons goat cheese
2 slices whole-wheat bread, toasted
3 tablespoons sugar-free mixed berry jam
¼ cup tightly packed fresh spearmint leaves
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Spread the goat cheese onto each slice of toasted bread.
2. Spread the mixed berry jam over the goat cheese and garnish the crostini with the spearmint leaves. Serve and enjoy!
